Subject: New policy regarding mail forwarding Date: Tue, Oct 16 2007 -- 12:21 PM Posted by: Mara's Staff Account
In order to cut down on the spread of spam and backscatter, and to keep our servers off blacklists, Panix now requires spam blocking and virus protection on all forwarding to other sites.
This affects all aliases (whether in the panix.com domain or in other domains), forwarding via webmail or procmail from your mailbox or shell account on Panix, and all auto-responders.,
Forwarding to a single Panix mailbox now has two spam blocks (Zen and Sender Address Verification) turned _on_ by default. If this is not what you want, you can use the webmail interface for that mailbox, uncheck the relevant box(es) and click the "submit" button at the bottom of the page.
